Augustino Brewing couple drinking in northwest Wichita.

WICHITA, Kans. – Wichita will soon have a new brewery to celebrate. Augustino Brewing is planning to open in the northwest Wichita area in 2017. It will be the only brewery and coffeehouse in the State of Kansas and feature a full coffee bar, an array of craft beers produced in house, and American and Italian cuisine. It will also be the first majority woman-owned brewery in Wichita.

Augustino Brewing is owned by Bianca Iacopelli. Augustine Iacopelli is the marketing officer and brewer. In addition, Augustine Iacopelli has been a fixture in the Wichita brewing community since moving to the area in June of 2000.

Bianca Iacopelli (Owner/Founder) says, “My husband has been brewing for almost 20 years and has been involved in the local homebrewing club, Wichita Homebrewers Organization, for nearly as long, including serving 2 separate terms as president.”

Augustine Iacopelli says, “We have most of the seed funding required to open our doors, we thought it would be fun to make the remainder of our fundraising a community event by letting our friends and neighbors become ‘Founders’ in the company.”

The funding campaign is going on through augustinobrew.com website and will run through August 31.
