Job Description Bartender / Barista

As a Bartender/Barista you will be responsible for:

  • Setup, maintenance and operation of the bar
  • Take drink orders from patrons or servers
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes including any number of craft coffees, tea, and smoothie drinks, made-to-order for customers in a hurry
  • Mix ingredients for cocktails
  • Most importantly, serve craft beer
  • Ring drink orders into register, collect payment and make change
  • Wash and sterilize glassware
  • Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish appetizers
  • Ensuring customers have an experience where they feel that sense of belonging

Job Description | Line Cook

As a line cook you will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of food items according to our standards of quality, consistency and time lines
  • Ensuring compliance with all health codes and requirements
  • Maintaining stock (re-stocking) and organization of work area daily
  • Operating equipment safely determined by position and OSHA regulations
  • Using knives correctly while chopping, cutting, dicing, etc.
  • Completing prep tasks as needed in accordance with recipe, procedure, quality and speed standards
  • Contributing to positive food costs by utilizing established best practices
  • Responding to additional guest requests by preparing orders to their specifications
  • Maintaining food storage, receiving, stocking and rotation.
  • Working closely and communicating with both BOH and FOH team members
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Education, Skills & Experience:

  • Experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment including but not limited to knives, slicer, mixer, salamander, stoves, ovens, Hobart, broiler and pizza oven desired
  • Usually requires culinary degree and/or several years of experience
  • Cool under pressure

Job Description | Server

As a server you will be responsible for:

  • Serving multiple tables of Guests simultaneously as determined by management
  • Providing great Guest experience through menu presentation and suggestive selling
  • Describing menu and daily specials
  • Checking Guests identification and serve alcoholic drinks adhering to state and local regulations
  • Record Guest orders and enter them in the Point-of-Sale system in a timely manner
  • Processing guest orders to ensure all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis
  • Refilling drinks and delivering food as soon as necessary
  • Responding to additional requests
  • Observing diners to ensure they are satisfied with food and service and have everything they need to enjoy their meals
  • Coordinating entire station and communicating front-and back-of-house personnel to provide a dining experience that meets or exceed guest expectations
  • Clearing dishes when the meal has been completed
  • Performing money transactions, return accurate change, and close checks in Point-of-Sale system
  • Working in team environment and communicate with Team Members and Guests
  • Assisting bussers with stocking, removing and resetting dishes and silverware between courses, and cleaning and resetting vacated tables
  • Performing opening and closing side duties as assigned (e.g., ice buckets, roll silverware, set up soda machines, etc.)
  • Performing other functions assigned by management (e.g., prep desserts and salads, restock, check restrooms, empty bus tubs, refill ice, assist other FOH & BOH Team Members, etc.).
